Victoria, a city named after the British Queen, is quite reminiscent of the United Kingdom and its flair. British settlers came to the living areas, previously inhabited solely by native Americans, and built modernizing structures, making this area of land their central trade base. Despite the actions of the foreign settlers, native Americans still own some of the area apart from the local Legislature Building. British charm meets native American traditions! The oldest town in Canada is the perfect travel goal for your Gap Year after graduating from school, university or when you take a sabbatical year. You can decide how long you would like to stay on your journey for, from anywhere between the spans of 3 to 12 months. You may also lengthen your visit upon request.

Our Gap Year language courses

All of our language teachers are native English speakers that teach very enthusiastically, making your lessons very pleasant and cheerful. Lessons will take place on Mondays and Fridays, meaning that you will be free to do anything you would like throughout the weekends. In your Gap Year language trip you will be able to choose between two course types. One of them is the Standard course, which contains 4 lessons per day and the other is the Intensive course which contains 6 lessons per day. Each lesson will be 45 minutes long and you can find the prices for both types of language courses in the table below.

Our language school

Our language school in Victoria's Downtown district is located within a heritage building near the historic old town, which holds sights that must not be missed. The famous harbour (which was used for trading) is also right around the corner. The school is equipped with 12 classrooms that are very comfortable and have build in are conditioning. Additionally the building holds a kitchen with an eating area and a computer room with free internet access and WIFI. The school also provides a lounge in which students can relax or meet new people.
