Language certificates and exams

Sprachcaffe offers special courses to prepare for recognised language certificates such as the Cambridge Certificate (FCE, CAE), IELTS, TOEFL, DELE, TestDAF and TELC. The average duration of these courses is 12 weeks. Participation in these courses requires a good knowledge of the chosen language.

You will work on oral and written communication skills in 20 lessons per week. The focus is on grammar comprehension. For special preparation, our teachers will familiarise you with the procedure and structure of the respective exam by means of examples and exercises. Language courses taken in preparation of official certifications are usually recognised as educational leave, so you should be able to secure up to two weeks of additional leave and deduct the costs from your taxes.

The official certificate confirms participation in one of our exam courses and documents your knowledge of the respective foreign language in an objective way. It can therefore be what sets you apart from other candidates applying for a specific job vacancy. It is also useful to keep in mind that language certificates are recognised by many foreign universities and employers, opening up many career opportunities abroad.

Listening and textual comprehension skills are focal points of the exam preparation courses we offer. Our highly-skilled instructors will teach you techniques for taking in, elaborate, and communicate information effectively.

Part of the weekly language lessons is used to prepare you on the structure of your exam of choice.
