Modern Talking
The German pop duo Modern Talking was formed in Berlin in early 1983, when Dieter Bohlen, a composer and producer got together with singer Thomas Anders to work on what would be their first single, "You're my heart, you're my soul", edited in 1984. A year later their disco debut went on sale, named simply The First Album. In 1985 they released their second album, which became a sales hit thanks to the single "Cheri Cheri Lady".

Their 1986 album Ready for Romance resulted in the band's peak of popularity, especially due to the sales hit of their single "Brother Louie", but after their next record In the Middle of Nowhere and their hit "Geronimo´s Cadillac", tensions between Bohlen and Anders got to a point of no return. In 1987 they edited Romantic Warrior and soon after parted ways to embark on solo careers. In 1998, both reunited to record a new Modern Talking album, Back for Good.
