4 FUN-PACKED LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR YOU Our courses Regardless of your choice of course, you’ll have the chance to develop your language ability quickly and effectively. Our Standard Course, of 20 lessons per week, aims to give a dramatic boost to your confidence in a foreign language, with focused teaching in all 4 skill areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our Intensive Course builds on our Standard Course, with 10 additional lessons per week, focusing on the fas- test possible language acquisition. Workshops 1. Business English helps in develop- ing skills such as email writing, leading meetings, target group vocabulary and the use of idioms. 2. Job Applications & Interviews is designed as an aid for job appli- cations. It covers vocabulary and func- tional tailor-made language. 3. Communication Skills offers you assistance for elaborate conversa- tions and advice when implementing advanced communication strategies. 4. Public Speaking & Presentations helps in strengthening confidence be- fore larger audiences (e.g. professional or academic presentations). 5. English Drama. Develop your abilities as an actor and perform a play in front of an audience – train your rhetoric and pronounciation. Customised workshops available on request. Teaching time The Standard Course generally takes place from 9:00 to 12:30, Monday to Friday. Students who choose the Intensive Course have 2 additional lessons focused on conversation from 13:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday. *Alterations possible Evaluation & Certificate The majority of our students take an online language test prior to commencing their programme, how- ever if this is not available, they may take the exam on the first Monday. Students are placed into classes according to their current language skills. Each student receives an end-of- course certificate. Learning materials are provided to students on loan (weekly 10-20 EUR / CAD / GBP) throughout their course.
