Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Eng- land are waiting for you to be explored for a stay from one month to a whole year. Depending on your choice of destination you can start at the beginning of every term. When and how do I apply? Please apply as early as possible, at least six months in advance by simply filling out our application form. What's next? After we have received your application, we will invite you and your parents for a Skype or personal interview. What is an Application Package? To get registered we will need further documents that are included in the Appli- cation Package. This includes a letter from you to your host family as well as a picture collage. Additionally, a reference letter from your teacher and a health certificate from your general practitioner is necessary. School placement. After all of your information has been send to our partners and schools we will re- ceive a letter of offer that will confirm your school placement. You will then be able to choose your subjects and start looking forward to your stay abroad. Visa application and host family. Since you will be an international student you will need to apply for a student visa or a visitor’s visa depending on your nation- ality and the length of your stay abroad. While studying abroad you will be living with a local host family to experience the local culture in-depth. This family will be assigned to you before you leave so you can get to know them in advance. When and how do I leave? You will need to book a flight individually or we can make you an offer. As soon as you arrive at your destination, your host family or a representative from the school will welcome you. Further information and contact. Before, during and after your high school experience there is always somebody you can turn to for further information. Before you go we will send you any necessary information on a regular basis. During your stay the school coordinators support all international students. After your stay you will receive a certificate of your success- ful stay. For you and your parents it is also good to know that we are in constant contact with our partners and schools in each destination. What is a returnee?
