Dublin, the capital of the Em- erald Isle, is a very vibrant and young city, with almost a third of all residents under the age of 25. This makes Dublin known for its humor, serenity and hospitality. Dublin is a rather small European metropolis with only about 1.23 million inhabitants, which is why you will quickly become familiar with the area. The Ballinteer Commu- nity School was founded in 1974 in south Dublin. Over the years, the school has made a name for itself, which makes students wear their uniform with pride. The extracurricular activities offered also contribute to the fact that the students really enjoy going to school. Part of these activities are a musical production group and a great sports program. The school even has a playing field with a great flood light system. DUBLIN Wicklow is a beautiful city south of Dublin. It is right on the coast and therefore has a beautiful scenic port with many small cafes. In addition, Wicklow Head is the easterly point on the Irish mainland. The city is said to have been founded by the Vikings, but some remains suggest a much earlier settlement. The Colaiste Chill Mhantain is a relatively new school, established in 2011. In addition to the new building, there is also a well-equipped and very modern school area. The high school´s mission is to provide a positive and supportive learning environment that meets the physical, social, moral and spiritual needs of each individual.
