These courses are continuous, meaning that they will be running all throughout your stay in Ottawa, depending on how long you decide to remain there. Standard course lessons take place before noon, so that you are free to do as you please in the afternoon. There are many possibilities for both recreation and work. New people, excursions, free time activities and plenty of sightseeing opportunities await you!

Our Gap Year language courses

A Gap Year course is perfect for when you also want to take part in an internship at the side. The Standard course option takes place before noon so that you can be completely free to do anything you want or need to in the afternoon. This course option contains 4 lessons per day. If you would like to further your learning experience why not try the Intensive course option? This course contains 6 lessons per day, some of which will also take place in the afternoon. You can decide which option best suits your wishes. Our teachers place great importance on engaging with each student on an individual level, which is why we cap the number of participants in each course at 10 students. This way each students' knowledge is effectively furthered without any exceptions. At the end of your course you will receive a Sprachcaffe language course completion certificate.

Our language school

The school is located in the city center of Ottawa. There are pubs and restaurants all around that are quite welcoming and great places for students to go to before or after lessons. Parliament Hill, the district in which the government is found, is also only a short walk away from the language school. This enables you to begin your sight seeing tour right then and there. Our school in Ottawa is equipped with 10 comfortable classrooms that have in built air conditioning as well. The building also contains an area for students to eat in, a kitchen, a computer room with free internet access and WIFI throughout the entire school building.
