European Union citizens planning to travel to Canada must bear in mind that they do not require visas if they travel as tourists. Below you'll find all the information you need to plan your trip without problems to Canada.
EU members who go to Canada as tourists for a maximum period of six months do not need visas. They need a valid passport with an expiration date of at least one more day that the scheduled date of return; have sufficient funds to pay for the stay, and the cost of the ticket.
Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa to enter as tourists: Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Barbados, Brunei, Bahamas, Canada, Switzerland, Greenland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Japan, St. Kitts and Nevis, Korea North, South Korea, Saint Lucia, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Mexico, Namibia, Norway, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Singapore, San Marino, Swaziland, United States, the Vatican, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa. Nationals of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovenia do require visas.
If you are not a national of one of the countries listed above then you must apply for a visa. The tourist visa requires:
* Registration Form
* Passport-size picture
* A valid passport with an entire page blank
* Return Ticket
* Evidence of sufficient funds for the trip
* Proof of the purpose of their visit
* Payment of visa fee
