European Union citizens planning to travel to the United Kingdom do not need any documentation. However, nationals of other countries must have other requirements that will be explained below.
Nor do the citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) need a visa. The EEA includes all EU countries, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland. Swiss citizens are also included in this category.
The best thing is to find out what type of permit is required on the basis of nationality on the web page of the British Foreign Office (Foreign Office). The procedure takes about a month. Each person is responsible for dealing with the embassy/consulate of the country they are traveling to.
The following documents are usually required:
A visa request form (you can get it for free at the nearest British consulate or download it at www.ukvisas.gov.uk)
A valid passport
Two or three photographs in color passport size (45mm x 35mm)
Visa Fee
Other neccessary documents:
A work permit
A letter of admission to a university
Your diplomas and certificates of study
Documentation, such as bank statements showing that you will be able to maintain yourself during your stay in the UK.
